About trip
Ol Doinyo Lengai or Oldoinyo Lengai means “Mountain of God” in the local Maasai language. It is a sacred volcano, which erupted last in 2013. We offer 1 or 2 days trip. The one day includes the ascension to the mountain, while the two days trip allows you also to visit a remote Masaai tribe, which still nowadays is totally separated by civilization. They live of hunting, honey and wild fruits harvesting. Our trip will be respectful of their environment and culture. The two days trip also allows you to pass by the beautiful Lake Natron, most famous for its pink flamingos.

We offer two type of tour, guide and driver only or full inclusive. We recommend only expert hikers to chose the guide only tour.
1 Park fees must include entrance visitor fees + local support team fees + camping/hut fees Additional fees for Filming, cycling, paragliding can be found here.
2 First aid kit include disinfection tools and bendage, antibiotics, painkillers, diamox
3 it is not possible to hike Kilimanjaro with no guide according with the park regulations.

4 One food porter will be assigned to each tourist. He/she will not be carring water.
Every porter can carry a max of 20kg beyond their poersonal belonging.
Guide only tour EXCLUDE food. Visitors are required to buy resupply for a max of 1 kg of resupply per day of climb. Excess food will have to be carried by the visitor.
5 For guide only tour the visitor is required to carry his/her own backpack. Gears will be checked and tested the day before departure.
For compfort and deluxe tours the porter will be carrying
- visitor luggage (each porter can carry max 20kg each beyond personal belonging)
- tent and camping gears
- water to the last campsite where there is no natural water
6 For guide only tour the visitors will be required to cook their own food. Gas resupply will be checked before departure to make sure it is enough.

Picking up the Airport by our staff driver, will be driving to your hotel in Arusha/Moshi after a short rest over long journey, our mountain guide will give a shor brief about your next day and check up on you hiking equipment.

ARUSHA – LAKE NATRON DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT Kamakia Camp1 Hotel pick up and drive to Lake Natron. Local tribe visit and walk tour to Ngare Sero waterfall.
At 1:00 drive to the foot of Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano. Ascension to the summit for sunrise. Return to the driver pick up Return to Arusha. Hiking time 7 to 12 hours depending on your level of fitness.
