My name is Richard Laizer and I spent the last 13 years taking care of the safety and well-being of international tourist in my home land. I met people of any origin and background and had the pleasure to make them discover local flavors and tradition in the maximum respect of their needs and culture. I give my soul to make sure I exceed your expectations. I want your valuable time spent in Tanzania to remain in your memory like a sweet dream.
I manage my own independent business AfrikiliAdventure together with my lovely wife, who helps me greatly with bureaucracy and logistics.
I have carefully selected my collaborators between the most experienced guides and chefs in Tanzania, with who I built a relationship of trust and mutual exchange during the last 10 years in this sector.

Our agency is registered at the Government of Tanzania and we are licensed for both Kilimanjaro and National Parks tours.
All our guides are First Aid trained and Certified Mountain Guides. Certificates are not published on the website to preserve our people privacy and prevent identity theft, but they can be shared with clients before departure.
We pay our people fairly, to allow them a sustainable economic independence. This makes them keen to be part of our team and ensure the best customer experience too.
The tour price components are agreed and shared with the customer for transparency, including meals plan and first aid equipment. This allow us to adopt a minimum waste procedure, and our porters avoid to carry on their shoulders unnecessary items that do not add value to our customer experience. This strategy allow us to offer more competitive prices, in line with customer expectation.
There are NO hidden costs and NO intermediaries, AfriKili Adventure founder is a local Mountain guide himself and directly hires the collaborators needed. The agency fee is completely reinvested in the business to ensure continuous improvement and training, and therefore first class customer experience.
